Missions Week 2012 

During the week of July 17 to the 21 our brothers and sisters from Springfield Baptist joined us for an incredible week of fellowship and hard work as they joined us to help make some much needed repairs to the church building.  We were able to get a new concrete walk poured, Sunday School room walls stripped and painted, old carpet removed, basement cleaned and walls and floors painted, a new roof installed on the foyer, and a sanctuary floor repaired  that was sagging because of rotted floor supports.  The work was hard but the fellowship was sweet and God was incredible as he poured out his love for this old church through those that helped.

Vacation Bible School 2011

I want to thank all the dedicated members of Rockbridge Baptist for their service to the Lord and the Kingdom of God this week.

This year the children journeyed back to ancient Egypt the home of Joseph who through a number of problems and learned what faith is God is about.

In the linen shop the children worked on blankets that were sent through World Vision to children overseas.

The children were in one of 4 family groups

The toy shop was manned by the men of our church and the children loved making brick, old fashioned toys and sand crafts.

The opening and closing times we shared music and worship as the night was recapped.
